Fort Myers Beach marinas are constant motion. Sail boats, sport fishing boats, yachts, shrimp boats and a multitude of private boats navigate these waters. Even when it is quiet, there is something peaceful about sitting on the water surrounded by the boats in dock. You cannot go wrong finding a outside seat at one of the many restaurants, having a great meal, taking in the salt air and feeling the atmosphere of the gulf. Life moves much slower.

Some of the best establishments are tucked away and may be hard to find. Do not hesitate to ask for directions or recommendations from the locals. if possible, plan an evening dinner and enjoy the twilight. It will be well worth your effort.
